Pleasure spot - clitoris
The clitoris has more to offer than its pea-sized head suggests. It is twice as sensitive as the penis because it has around 8000 nerve endings. If it’s given some attention, a person can experience exhilarating climaxes and can even train their orgasms.
Anatomy & function
Contrary to what many people think, the clitoris is actually fairly large. The visible part is below the pubic mound and can be found in the spot where the labia minora meet. It sticks out (approx. 2 cm) from underneath a fold – which is also known as the clitoral hood. The clitoris extends up to nine more centimetres into the vagina and then divides into two parts that are at either side of the labia majora.
When someone is aroused, blood rushes to the pelvic area and the clitoris swells and becomes much more sensitive.
A clitoral orgasm can be breathtakingly intense and sensual. In order to have a clitoral orgasm, there needs to be a relaxing atmosphere, the right stimulating touch and the right technique.
There are three different ways to stimulate the clitoris:
Indirect Stimulation:
Certain sex positions can stimulate the clitoris with friction or rubbing without it being touched.
Tip: just put a cushion between the legs during masturbation.
Direct Stimulation:
Sexual pleasure is often indescribable when the clitoris is being caressed by fingers or a tongue.
Tip: don’t press too hard – start with gentle touches and then slowly increase the intensity if necessary.
Toy-Stimulation:
Toys will spice up a sex life and take pleasure to a whole new level – whether they’re being used for solo fun or during couple’s sex. Numerous products have been designed specifically for clitoral stimulation, e.g. lay-on vibrators or toys with a suction function.
Tip: the things that feel great are allowed! Just try things out and enjoy the wonderful sensations…
