Lithium batteries are used in almost all modern electronic devices these days - whether laptops, torches or sex toys. In order to enjoy such devices for as long as possible, you should know how to look after such a battery.
Here are a few simple tips:- Lithium batteries require sufficiently powerful chargers. If the charging currents are too weak, e.g. when connected to PC USB sockets, the device may not recognise that the charging process should be started. Therefore, chargers should be able to supply at least 1,000mAh of current.
- For safety reasons, lithium batteries are usually only 40-50% ‘full’ for transport. For this reason, you should always charge your toy before using it for the first time so that the fun doesn't come to a premature end.
- As soon as the charging process is complete, the toy should be disconnected from the charger to prevent possible overcharging. Under no circumstances should the toy be left plugged into the charger for long periods of time.
- All our sex toys have a safety function that prevents the battery from discharging too far to avoid permanent damage. The toys therefore switch off automatically when the battery falls below a certain capacity. As soon as this happens, you should not switch the toy on again immediately to ‘finish’. Instead, after a short waiting time (approx. 10 minutes), connect the toy and allow it to charge fully.
- Similarly, the charging process should not be interrupted prematurely or recharged prematurely, as this can have a detrimental effect on the service life of the toy.
- In order to enjoy your sex toy for as long as possible, you should wait approx. 30-60 minutes after charging before using the toy again so that the charge in the battery can ‘relax’. This ensures that the battery retains its maximum capacity for as long as possible.
- If you don't want to/can't use your Sextoy for a longer period of time, you should still drain it regularly and then recharge it.
- It is also a good idea (if possible) to remove the batteries and rechargeable batteries from the toy (and possibly the remote control) when not in use.
Finally, do not dispose of ‘used’ batteries and rechargeable batteries in household waste, but take them to a designated collection point or to the retailer for disposal.
Of course, the usual safety rules also apply:- Not a children's toy.
- Do not force open or damage toys and batteries.
- Do not cover the toy during the charging process; do not charge in the (possibly) supplied storage bag.
- No changes may be made to the toy.
- Do not throw into the fire.
- Before each use of a toy, please check for visible damage. If there is any visible damage, the toy must not be used or loaded.
- The toy must not be used or charged in an explosive atmosphere.
- Failure to observe these safety instructions may result in damage to the toy and injury to the operator.
